Mobile donations on the rise by sylvng

Interesting article on New York Times on the rise of giving through mobile phones. My interpretation, of course, is that this will also mean the continued rise of micro-donations; most likely, quick, one-time donations won’t be in big amounts. Over $24M was raised through the mGive platform for the Haiti earthquake with only $10 donations. The wireless carriers even waived network fees for those donations. Great stuff!
